  • Balance your diet. It's okay to indulge in junk food when you feel down. But, it is important to maintain a balanced diet to reduce stress. Drink tea, and eat whole grains and fish.


  • Relaxation is an important part of your daily routine. Stress can make it seem like you don't have enough time to relax. You need to make time to unwind and recharge. A massage can help you reduce stress and give you an hour of your own time.


  • Pay attention to your breathing. Breathing techniques can calm the brain and body. For three seconds, breathe in through the nose. For two seconds, hold your breath. As you count to three, breathe in through your nose.


  • Go for a walk. Exercise can be a great way to relieve stress. Get outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air and also get a bit of exercise.
