Everybody has aches and pains. However, not everyone can afford a professional massage. These massages are easy to do at home and will leave you feeling great.
This move is great because it can be done under your desk and without disturbing what you are doing. Although you can use any regular tennis ball, we suggest using a spiked one to make your feet feel light and airy.
Here's how it works:
A. Sit down and place your soled or socked foot on the ball. Roll the ball back and forth, from heel to tip, with firm pressure.
B. Roll in small circles if you feel any pain or tenderness.
You can apply more pressure if you are standing than if you are sitting.
A. Place your hands on your stomach and bend your knees.
B. Place a tennis ball between your thumbs and forefinger in each hand. Next, place your hands behind your head so that the tennis balls are at the base of your skull.
C. Alternate shaking your head side to side and then tucking your chin.
A. Lift your hips and knead the area with the tennis ball.
Start with the apples of your cheeks.
A. As you open and close your mouth, press down on your cheekbones.
B. Follow an imaginary beard line and do this all the way back.
C. Reach your sideburns and press your thumb underneath your jawbone. Then, pull your fingertips toward the sides of your face.
D. Continue to move along your jaw and toward your chin.
E. Grab your chin and slide the skin between your thumbs.
A. Sit down and stretch your leg, so your quad muscles are relaxed.
B. For 10 seconds, press your fingertip or knuckle into the area that hurts.
C. Repeat the process twice: Bend your knee and straighten it.
D. Repeat the process 2-3 times for every place that hurts.
You can also massage your butt if it just feels good. Here's how it works:
A. Place your feet on the ground, with your legs bent and your hands on the ground.
B. Get your leg up off the ground, and then roll on the ball. This will help you to feel the tension in the areas that are most difficult.
C. Continue on the other side.
It can feel good or not. However, if you use your hands to do manual labor or type on a computer all day, this move is a lifesaver. Here's how it works:
A. Your arm should be extended, with the palm facing up. Then, hold your other hand to your elbow and gently cup it under your elbow.
B. Turn your arm so that your palm faces the ground.
C. Continue to do this until your wrist is reached.
Don't squeeze too hard. We are just twisting the sausage's casing. We are not trying to squeeze the meat out.
