Are you tired of getting up in the morning? It's time to reclaim your morning routine. A restful night's sleep is as crucial as exercising and eating healthy. It is an important part of your routine for wellness. We all want more sleep, but at times we aren't sure how to get there. We're here for you! Here are 6 suggestions that will help you get more ZZZs.


  • Make preparations for the night prior. Set up the coffee in advance, take out your outfits then create an alarm. This way, you'll be able to get up and begin your day without worrying about which blouse will match your slacks. You can also not be rushing around in circles because you got up late.


  • Switch off all electronic devices for 90 minutes prior to bedtime. The bright light of your mobile phone or electronic gadgets can disrupt your sleep time and make it difficult to fall asleep late at night. Instead of scrolling through Instagram or reading or reading a book, contemplate or listen to calming music instead.


  • Establish your routine. You should have a set time to wake up (this also applies to weekends)! Your body's internal clock enjoys routine and will set the tone for the remainder of the day. Begin by putting on your bed and then falling asleep at the same time every day. There's even an alarm that says "go to bed" alarm on your smartphone and now is the perfect moment to begin using it.


  • Do not press the snooze button. Snooze interrupts your body's natural awakening routine. The more you doze, the more disoriented your body and mind become. If you're not able to hit snooze, consider establishing a schedule that allows for 8 hours of rest. In time your body will be used to the routine and you'll get up without any alarm!


  • Get moving. A workout in the morning can help you feel refreshed and prepare to face the challenges of your day. The study revealed that those who exercised between 7 and 8 a.m. had a deeper and longer night of sleep than those who completed an exercise session during the afternoon or evening.


  • Take advantage of an appointment for a massage. It's not a secret that massage can aid in relaxation. Did you know that massages can help improve sleep, reduce stress, and aid in reviving your body?
